🌊 Battambang Water Festival 2025 — Tourism on the Rise

The Royal Water Festival (Bon Om Touk, Bon Banhchhaet Prateip, and Ak Ambok Sampeah Preah Khae) in Battambang Province on November 4, 2025 attracted an impressive number of visitors. The vibrant atmosphere along the Sangke River showcased both cultural pride and the province’s growing tourism appeal.

  • Total visitors: 33,887 people
  • Domestic tourists: 33,635 people
  • International tourists: 252 people

This increase clearly highlights Battambang’s emergence as a major tourism destination during Cambodia’s traditional festivals. Cultural activities such as the boat races, floating lanterns, and traditional performances created an atmosphere full of Khmer spirit and joyful celebration.
